Annapurna Round Trek

In entire massif of Annapurna region, Annapurna round trek route is a magical route to do. This route was authorized in 1997 AD by Nepal Government. Based on foreign trekkers this route was designed. Rounding Annapurna region our main theme is to cross Thorong La pass. It is the highest pass of Annapurna region. There is difficulty in walking on this route. Avoiding this we are provided with magical and thrilling experience. These all are possible only when we walk on Kali Gandaki Route. It is world’s deepest river gorge. We walk in between Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri. Our walk goes in lush green valleys. We pass from many fascinating villages. Our self is witness of most panoramic views of snowcapped white Himalayas and landscapes.

We start our Annapurna Round Trek from Besisahar. In first fewer days we may get problem walking in narrow humpty dumpty zigzag trial. Walking continuously for many days make habitual in walking. Every step of our foot leads us higher and higher altitude. There should be carefulness of temperature. According to trekking expert we accumulate in some place. Our night rest point will be many local villages. Here we have interaction with local people. We become so much impressed with their kindly and pleasures behavior. Enjoying all this we do our trek. Day To Day Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Landing your flight at TIA, our representative will be there for your warm welcome. He/she are for your arrival.  You will be shifted to your place of accommodation. You can have full rest after a long flight. From the next day our routine will be according to our itinerary. Make full preparation for it.

Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.

Today is your first day in Nepal. We will spend our day roaming all around Kathmandu valley. For you there will be guide who will pick you up in your hotel. We will start our day tour after breakfast. It is very easy. At first we will visit Pashupatinath. It is holiest temple of Lord Shiva. Our next destination is Boudhanath. It is known as little Tibet. Finishing this we will move on to Swyambhunath. It is also known as monkey temple. Lastly we will drive to Basantapur Durbar Square. Finishing all this we will return back to hotel and make further preparation.    

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besishahar (830m) – 7 Hours

We will drive to Besisahar. During our drive it will be interesting to see roadside houses in corner of dense forest. After a drive of 5 to 6 hours we will be at Besisahar. Besisahar is head quarter of lamjung district. In Besisahar we can spend our leisure time exploring around area of head quarter.

Day 04: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m) – 5 Hours

First day walk of our trek leads us to Bahundanda. We can have short drive to Bhulbhule. From here we follow the trial of Marshyangdi River. Magic moments of trek seen in our trek can be cached during our walk. Walking continuously for about 4 to 5 hours we reach Bahundanda to spend our night.

Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1400m) – 5 Hours

Continuing our trek our next destination is Jagat. Walking on main trial of Marshyangdi River, we view beautiful mountain ranges i.e. Annapurna Himal, Lamjung Himal and many more himals. it will be the first glimpses of our trek. With this traditional & cultural Chamje village of bhote people is also very interesting.

Day 06: Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m) – 5 Hours

Early morning we will start our trek to Bagarchhap. At first it may be difficult for us. Walking continuously for more days it will be habitual and simple. Our way goes downward after crossing a suspension bridge. Walking through the track of Dharapani we continue bagarchhap to stay our night.

Day 07: Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m) – 5 Hours

Having a good night rest, we will make preparation to our next destination Chame. We will be walking through main trial of Marshyangdi River. It offers us spectacular views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna Himal with other mountain ranges. Walking around 5 to 6 hours in humpty dumpty trial we reach Chame.

Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3300m) – 5 Hours

Waking up early morning, we will be impressed with sparkling mountains in rising sun. After having our breakfast we continue our walk to Pisang. We can enjoy full beauty of nature with spectacular view of Pisang peak in north east in our trial. Like this we will be at Pisang 3100 m to spend our night.

Day 09: Pisang to Manang (3540m) – 5 Hours

Early morning we will have breakfast with beautiful view of Pisang peak. Then we will continue our walk to Manang. It is very beautiful barren land. Observation of distinct landscapes and vegetation of this place makes our day memorable. Walking for around 5 to 6 hours, we will reach our destination Manang valley.

Day 10: Acclimatization at Manang

Today we take rest for whole day. From Manang magnificent sights around village will impress us so much. We spend our whole day by exploring around beautiful manang valley. Manang is absolutely gorgeous Valley. Living lifestyle of people in their own culture is very unique. It will be so much interesting to explore about them.  

Day 11: Manang to Yak Kharka (4000m) – 5 Hours

Leaving barren land of Manang, we continue our trek to Yak Kharka. We climb steadily through Tenki Manang. From here we leave Marsyangdi Valley. We now start to Jarsang Khola valley. In this way we reach Yak Kharka. This village is herds of vegetation & yaks thinning out. In leisure time we can get knowledge of them.

Day 12: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4450m) – Hours

From Yak Kharka we hike to Thorung Phedi. In winter we may need to walk on snowy path. From the top of height we can analyze the beauty of valley. It will be very interesting to spend some time. Resting for few moments we walk to Thorong Phedi. Walking for about 4 to 5 hours, we reach on beautiful land of Thorung Phedi.

Day 13: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong La Pass (5416m) – 8 Hours

In continuing our trek our today’s destination is Muktinath. It is holy pilgrimage of Hindu & Buddhist people. This day is quite important as we need to cross Thorung la passes. It is will be long day trekking. There may arise some difficulty walking in storm trial. Walking on land fully covered with sand we reach Muktinath.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2670m) – 6 Hours

Leaving Muktinath, we will descend down to Marpha village. It is home to the legendary apple orchids. We walk through main trial of Kaligandaki Valley. Walking for 6 hrs we can reach Marpha. It is given name of Apple capital of Nepal. Here we can taste Apple Brandy. It is local specialty of Marpha.

Day 15: Marpha to Ghasa (2010m) – 6 Hours

We have almost done Annapurna Round. Now we need to return back. We return back to next track. It will complete our trek. Our today’s destination is Ghasa. We return through different track. We continue our down to forest of rhododendron and bamboo. It will be very easy in walking as we need to walk downward to reach Ghasa.

Day 16: Ghasa to Tatopani (1190m) – 5 Hours

Our today’s destination is Tatopani. Walking through beautiful forest of bamboo & rhododendron we reach Tatopani. Here relax our self bathing on natural hot spring water. We will be fresh. Talking some moment of trip we finish our bath. Roaming some places around beautiful village we return back.

Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2810m) – 7 Hours

Long day trek made us tired. With a good sleep, early morning we continue our walk to Ghorepani. We walk through main route of Tatopani. Having our lunch we rest for some time. Then we need to walk up for about 3 hours to reach Ghorepani. The surrounding area of Ghorepani is very beautiful.

Day 18: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m) – 5 Hours

Today we need to wake up early to hike a short hill named Poon Hill. It is best view point of Annapurna region famous worldwide. From the top of hill combination of more than 10 mountains in same row will be so much impressive. For memory we can take a picture in camera. We return back after spending some of our time. Lastly we will have our lunch and continue our walk to Tikhedhunga. Our today’s walk is not so much difficult. 

Day 19: Tikhedhunga to Nayapul (1010m) – 3 Hours and Drive to Pokhara – 1 Hour

Our today’s walk will finish our trek. We will walk up to Nayapul. From here we drive to Pokhara. We need to walk through main trial of cultivated fields and meadows. We will cross old villages. We will have last look of pleasant views of great mountains. From Nayapul we will drive up to Pokhara.

Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Today we will return back to Kathmandu. We return back through the Prithivi highway. Greenery of highway will be so much impressive. Our lunch program is all managed in our way. We can have direct flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu for your easiness .We will organize a small farewell program for you. 

Day 21: departure

Keeping good memory of Nepal, it’s time to return back to our home land. You will be given all instruction and management of your departure is all managed by our team. Hope you will again return back to Nepal for visiting next beautiful side.
