Annapurna Nar Phu Valley trek is very well designed trekking route of Annapurna Region. This route was first walked by till man. He explored this area in 1950 AD. Analyzing the route is suitable to trek, in 2003 AD Nepal Government made this route official. From then it is catching its strength till now. Hope it will last for long time. This route is combination of Annapurna circuit trek. Our destinations villages are very ancient. They have very unique tradition and culture. We will explore all about them. Walking in this route offers us panoramic views of snow capped mountains ranges. These make our route very attractive.

Annapurna Nar Phu valley trek begins from Besisahar (head quarter of Lamjung district). This trek is also known as high land trek. In first fewer days we may get problem walking in narrow humpty dumpty zigzag trial. Walking continuously for many days make habitual in walking. Every step of our foot leads us higher and higher altitude. There should be carefulness of temperature. According to trekking expert we accumulate in some place. In this we complete our destination. In returning our end point is Jomsom. We have early morning mountain flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. It is also our main theme of trek. This will give good finish to our trek.

Day To Day Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Landing your flight at TIA, our representative will be there for your warm welcome. He/she are for your arrival.  You will be shifted to your place of accommodation. You can have full rest after a long flight. From the next day our routine will be according to our itinerary. Make full preparation for it.

Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.

Today is your first day in Nepal. We will spend our day roaming all around Kathmandu valley. For you there will be guide who will pick you up in your hotel. We will start our day tour after breakfast. It is very easy. At first we will visit Pashupatinath. It is holiest temple of Lord Shiva. Our next destination is Boudhanath. It is known as little Tibet. Finishing this we will move on to Swyambhunath. It is also known as monkey temple. Lastly we will drive to Basantapur Durbar Square. Finishing all this we will return back to hotel and make further preparation.    

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besishahar (830m) – 7 Hours

We will drive to Besisahar. During our drive it will be interesting to see roadside houses in corner of dense forest running river. After a drive of 5 to 6 hours we will be at Besisahar. Besisahar is head quarter of lamjung district. In Besisahar we can spend our leisure time exploring around area of head quarter.

Day 04: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m) – 5 Hours

First day walk of our trek leads us to Bahundanda. We can have short drive to Bhulbhule. From here we follow the trial of Marshyangdi River. Magic moments of trek seen in our trek can be cached during our walk. Walking continuously for about 4 to 5 hours we reach Bahundanda to spend our night.

Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1400m) – 5 Hours

Continuing our trek for next destination is Jagat. Walking on main trial of Marshyangdi River, we see the views beautiful mountain ranges i.e. Annapurna Himal, Lamjung Himal and many more himals. it will be the first glimpses of our trek. With this traditional & cultural Chamje village of bhote people is also very interesting.

Day 06: Chamje to Dharapani (1920m) – 5 Hours

Early morning we will start our trek to Dharapani. At first it may be difficult for us. Walking continuously for more days it will be habitual and simple. Our way goes downward after crossing a suspension bridge. Walking through the track of Tal we continue Dharapani to stay our night.

Day 07: Dharapani to Chame  (2600m) – 6 Hours

Having a good night rest, we will make preparation to our next destination Koto. We will be walking through main trial of oak and pine forest. It offers us fine views of spectacular mountain ranges. Viewing its beauty we walk around 5 to 6 hours in humpty dumpty trial and lastly reach Chame.

Day 08: Koto to Dharmasala (3230m) – 7 Hours

Waking up early morning, we will be impressed with sparkling mountains in rising sun. After having our breakfast we continue our walk to Dharmasala. Our today’s walk will be long. We need to face some difficulty in walking. Till our track ends to Dharmasala we can observe Pilgrims & Small caves.

Day 09: Dharmasala to Kayang (3740m) – 6 Hours

Kayang is our next destination of trek. Today we need to walk in difficult track. We have to walk fully steep hill to pastures land of Meta Kharka. This area is non-permanent winter settlement of Nar. Walking in forest of Pine & oak we can observe some wildlife playing. Like this we reach Kayang to spend our night.

Day 10: Kayang to Phu Valley (4050m) – 6 Hours

From Kayang our next destination is Phu valley. In beginning we will walk on the bank of river. We follow main track of road. Later on we leave road and change way to forest of rhododendron. The natural beauty of forest will make us so much happy. In this way we continue our walk to Phu Valley.

Day 11: Phu Valley to Junam (3550m) – 5 Hours

We continue our trek to Junam. First of all we need to cross end gate of Phu valley. From here we start our trek to Junum. We pass through Junam Khola. Natural beauty of environment will please while walking in difficult path. Walking around 5 hours we finally reach Janum village to spend our night.

Day 12: Junam to Nar Village (4150m) – 5 Hours

Early morning having our breakfast our next trek leads us to Nar village. We will be impressed with panoramic view giant mountain ranges from our surrounding area. We will be happy by seeing it. This will remove our all tiredness and our mind will be fresh. Till we reach Nar village we continue walk.

Day 13: Nar Village to Ngwal (3675m) cross Kang La Pass (5300m) – 6 Hours

Today we start our trek a bit early. We need to walk a long distance. We need to cross Kang La Pass. It is very famous track of Annapurna region. It will be very interesting to spend some in height of pass.There may arise some difficulty walking in storm trial. Walking on land fully covered with snow we reach Ngwal.

Day 14: Ngwal to Manang (3550m) – 7 Hours

Early morning we will have breakfast and prepare for our trek. Then we will continue our walk to Manang. It is very beautiful barren land. Observation of distinct landscapes and vegetation of this place makes our day memorable. Walking for around 5 to 6 hours, we will reach our destination Manang valley.

Day 15: Manang to Ledar (4250m) towards Thorong La Pass – 6 Hours

Our today’s destination is Leder. Our main walking track goes through Yak Kharka. Most of the pasture land is used by local people for farming. We can see beauty of nature all around us. Continuously walking for about 5 to 6 hours we reach Leder 4200 m to enjoy our night at guest house.

Day 16: Ledar to Thorong High Camp (4800m) – 5 Hours

From Leder our next destination to  Thorung High Camp. In winter we may need to walk on snowy path. From the top of height we can analyze the beauty of valley. It will be very interesting to spend some time. Resting for few moments we walk to Thorong High Camp. Walking for about 4 to 5 hours, we reach on beautiful land of High Camp.

Day 17: Thorong High Camp to Muktinath (3800m)

In continuing our trek our today’s destination is Muktinath. It is holy pilgrimage of Hindu & Buddhist people. This day is quite important as we need to cross Thorung la passes. It will be long day trekking. There may arise some difficulty walking in storm trial. Walking on land fully covered with sand we reach Muktinath.

Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom (2713m) – 5 Hours

We will again continue our journey to Jomsom. It will be easy walk trek. Resting in many viewpoints we continue our walk to Jomsom. Our way goes easier as we will walk in very simple track. Our walk goes as if we are playing. Reaching on jomsom we make confirmation of our tomorrow’s flight to Pokhara.overnight at guest house.

Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara

With an early morning mountain flight to Pokhara, our whole trek is completed. It goes for about half an  hour . in this duration we will feel as we are flying in heaven. Just above beautiful ranges of mountains we will be flying. Landing on Pokhara we spend our remaining time on visiting the area of Pokhara. 

Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Today we will return back to Kathmandu. We return back through the Prithivi highway. Greenery of highway will be so much impressive. Our lunch program is all managed in our way. We can have direct flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu for your easiness. in the evening We will organize a small farewell program for you with our representative.

Day 21: Departure

Keeping good memory of Nepal, it’s time to return back to our home land. We will organize a small farewell program for you. You will be given all instruction and management of your departure is all managed by our team. Hope you will again return back to Nepal for visiting next beautiful side.
